Cottage cheese with cinnamon and splenda --4 0z. 2% has 14g of protein, total with milk and added powdered milk or low sugar raisin bran, oatmeal with sugar free syrup and no taste protein added, grits with butter and added protein, sf jello made with grape frost isopure 20 g. protein or sf pudding with vanilla protein, I make these ahead of time in small packages and eat in the car. My dietician said I was getting to much protein--I have to work on getting veges and fruits in now.

Well you don't necessarily have to eat breakfast foods. I eat leftovers sometimes. Fruit, Meatballs, steak, etc. In fact I have been known to have "breakfast foods" at night!

Breakfast, or any meal for that matter, can range from eggs of some sort to BBQ turkey, turkey smoked sausage, cottage cheese, string cheese, shrimp, cheeseburger, crab, deli meats, manwhich made with ground round or sirloin, steak, chicken breast, meatballs, tuna or anything else that is left over from some previous meal.

My favorite breakfast is tuna salad with boiled egg. I use the light tuna, comes in a pouch, add two chopped boiled eggs and only enough mayo to hold it together. That makes enough for 2 mornings. Very filling, tasty and full of protien. Only 150 calories for 1/2 cup.

My favorite breakfast is the new Sausage, Egg & Cheese Lean Pockets. They are smaller than the regular Lean Pockets and just one fills me up! They've got lots of protein, a few carbs, and are very tasty!

I just found these breads at GNC. It's called O'soLO lo carb banana walnut it has 3.3 g carb per serving. It tastes great with cream cheese or the laughing cow soft swiss cheese. They also have pumperknickel and sourdough flavors. Atkins also has a morning start breakfast bar in cinnamon roll that's fantastic. Good luck!! Hope this helps!

I make a chicken sandwich - 1 piece of Whole Wheat bread, toasted, with canned chicken and sometimes I put applesauce on it for an extra kick. It's delicious and filling and nutritious.

I live on peanuts for breakfast or hot cereal. Peanuts fill you up very fast and feels like you really ate something good.

I have a homemade protein bar most mornings: 1/4 C Butter (no substitution) 4 oz softened cream cheese - I use light 1/2 Cup Natural Peanut Butter - I use SF reduced fat 1 and 3/4 Cups Protein Powder (vanilla or chocolate)- I use 1/2 and 1/2 1 TBSP Vanilla 2 TBSP Splenda (I use about 8 packets) 1/2 Cup chopped peanuts (can use other nuts) Melt the butter in the microwave and add the PB and softened cream cheese. Mix together with a fork in a bowl. Then add protein, vanilla, Splenda, and chopped nuts. Stir Well. Expect it to be very crumbly. Taste - if not sweet enough - add more Splenda. Press mixture firmly into 8 x 8 pan. Slice into 12 pieces and put whole pan into freezer. Remove when bars are firm (about 2 hours). Place bars into zip lock and store in freezer. To make these bars more "fudge like" - use 3/4 of a stick of butter. You can also use a little bit more peanut butter.

What about a protein bar? Or yogurt with granola in it, or a high protein cereal with a little milk (just enough to wet it). I have had scrambled eggs with melted cheese and chili on top for a year now and still am not sick of it-on the weekends, I will put the egg/cheese/chil into a tortilla with refried beans-yum..

My favorite breakfast food is a Breakfast Burrito from McDonald's -- it's on the $1 menu! You can make them yourself at home. Scramble an egg with a little ham in it. If you like, you can put onions or green peppers in it too. Put this filling in a tortilla with a piece of cheese, fold it up and microwave it for a few seconds. These are really good with salsa too. I use the Mild Picante sauce on mine from Mickey-D's. Good luck!

Lots of great ideas here- I typically eat non traditional breakfast foods..just a note: the McDonald Burrito while small is not a very nutritional choice: 290 calories/150 calories from fat/16 grams of fat/24 grams of carbs/2 grams of fiber/2 grams sugar and only 13 grams of protein- I would stop and get one of these til I read this, its enough to keep me out of the drive up window-
