I had a complete lower body lift that included a panni and I'm thrilled with the results. I've never had a flat stomach before and it is great. That whole apron thing is gone forever and I now have actual abs to show off. It was definitely worth it - financially and physically!

I had one done not 7 weeks ago and I feel wonderful! I can't believe how flat I am already and I can see hip bones. I also bought my first pair of bikini and high cut underwear! It's the small things that are so exciting! It's well worth it...you deserve it!

I wish I could say I HAD a panni,,but I HAVE a panni. I frequent the chat room, and have chatted with scores of women who are THRILLED with the results of their TT. But I have also talked with a few who have said their doctor "hacked" them up. So I think when you are "shopping" for a Plastic Surgeon- do the same thing you did when you when looking for a bariatric surgeon- check em' out- ask to see some before/after pictures of cases HE has done- My surgeon said he won't even TALK to me about a TT until Mid Feb- (wants to make sure my weight has stablized) I SWORE pre-op that I would NEVER compalin about the extra skin- but now I'm COMPLAINING lol..I can't WAIT to have this removed (ugh) Blessings Kim

If you can manage it... financially, I think its a must -- step two in your journey perhaps. I had an extensive tummy tuck... and I just can't believe how much difference it made.. in addition to what they took off me, I lost 15 more pounds... am essentially at goal -- and I was a 16 before the TT, now wearing size 12 and often, though not always, size 10 -- PANTS! You can't beat that... really.. *grin* good luck.

HI, I had my panni November of 02, they removed about 9 pounds of excess stomach. Happy with the results - still don't have a waist, but the stomach no longer rests on my legs when I sit down. Panni surgery was the least painful of the operations I have had. Good luck.

I had a lower body lift in two stages the TT first then the back and hip. I personally felt very big and sloppy with the panni. I neeeded very little muscle work and I dont look like a model I still have a very natural shape flat stomach but a little female curve same with the hip area. I have aweful skin elasticity in the belly from all the weight carried in the trunk however my arms, legs and face have faired wonderfully. My insurance paid 100 % for both the LBL and my breast red/ lift due to proper documentation of all related issues and an awesome plastic surgeon. If you can I say go for it it certainly brings you to teh end of the journey. Best wishes. Lesley

I had my tummy tuck back in october and although I'm happy the major hang is gone, I'm not please with the results. My plastic surgeon wants to go in and redo it if thats says anything but the 6 lbs she did took made a big difference, but you would think after all the pain and money it would be closer to right. I have a concaved area and two areas with a little hang.
