Question:
Embarrassing question of the day!

First and only time that i have or will post anonymously and I know that the powers that be can tell who I am but this is just toooo embarrassing even for me. Has anyone lost so much weight that the labia doesn't cover the clitoris anymore? I feel like it's exposed and it's very uncomfortable like this. Maybe it's just me, but was wondering if anyone else had this problem.    — [Anonymous] (posted on March 7, 2002)

hi...could be a infection of the bartholamew gland. one of the symptoms of this is pressure around the clitorus and makes it feel like it is sticking out. my sister had this after sudden weight loss and she thought it was the seam of her knickers rubbing on it as the knickers sat differnt but it was t gland that was blocked so she took antibiotics for a week then no proble... hope this helps...

No need to be embarrassed about your parts! There are 10,000 members on this board and most are women! The clitoris very important part of your body, probably THE MOST important part ;) and we all have one, so one of us is going to possibly know what you are expiriencing. I think you need to visit a Gyn- and this may sound silly- but it could be that it is enlarged due to hormonal changes. But then, part of me would think it would cause it to shrink? Who knows, just a guess. Simply tell him that since your weight loss, it feels different in that area, it could be a really simple reason, or like the one poster said- a very specific condition that can be treated.........

I have had a similar experience with my weight loss. Everyone is built different. I was surprised that nobody posted that they too are experiencing this. If I sit on the edge of a firm chair, well, I have to scoot back or else, well, I get excited. I could elaborate a little more but the 'anon' feature was not available when I registered to answer. Lets just say that my husband likes the 'new me'. Down 63lbs., 45 to go!!
