Not every ailment you expirience is weight loss related. You very well could have a inner-ear infection, a sinus infection or your equilibrium is just off! Equilibrium is often affected by allergies, change in weather (hi and lo pressure); water stuck in your ear. You name it.... I would definitly go to the Doctor, as sometimes this dizziness can lead to nausea (such as car sickness!) and the Doctor can rule out a sinus or inner-ear infection etc. Note: Lots of inner ear and sinus infections go undetected- as you may not have any other symptoms other than dizziness.

Hi, I certainly don't want to alarm you, and since you are 13 mo. post-op I doubt if this is your problem (the inner ear infection sounds more plausible). BUt, I read this on wedmd.com after doing a search for 'dizziness' ... "A more serious cause of lightheadedness is bleeding. Most of the time, the site of the bleeding and the need to seek medical care are obvious. However, sometimes bleeding is not obvious (occult bleeding). Small amounts of gastrointestinal bleeding may occur over days or weeks without being noticed. When this is the case, lightheadedness and fatigue may be the first noticeable symptoms of blood loss. Excessive menstrual bleeding also can cause this type of lightheadedness." Bottom line, I would see your doc about this asap. Better safe than sorry. Hugs, Robinsky

As it has gotten hotter this summer I have also been experiencing more and more dizziness.(8 mths post-op) I have been pretty busy and not getting my water like I used to, I find the more I drink the less I have the dizziness spells. Although I've yet to take my own advice you still should probably check with your doctor as this was just my experience. Good Luck!

It could be any number of things, as stated below. Nutritional imbalance, ear things, but why not try drinking an extra glass of water while you look up your doc's phone number and see if slight dehydration is contributing to that feeling. I sit & work for hours & forget everything til I start to feel sorta NOT right, distracted, fuzzy. I've learned to drink even a small glass of water (not guzzle, but normal speed) and every time the faded feeling passes in moments. Note I said WHILE you are getting ready to call the doc, right?
