Question:
Do you know of a physician who will do a Mental Health Eval under MDIPA/MAMSI?

I am having quite a difficult time trying to find a doctor that will give me a mental health evaluation without having to first go to a psychologist and then to a psychiatrist. Do you know of any physician who will accept MDIPA/MAMSI who is willing to do a mental health evaluation. This is the only thing that is holding me up from submitting my paperwork to the insurance company? If you can help, please email me at [email protected] as I am unable to get online often. I also had a hard time finding a Dr. to do my physc. eval. I finally went to (ready for this) Dr. Robert Strange in Fairfax. I got in relatively quick. I don't have his number any more but if you have your MD IPA book you should be able to find him. He is a very nice man. Good luck to you.
