Question:
Why will BTC no longer accept BCBS of Michigan?

I heard this today and I thought oh no? I had my surgery back on Jan 21st of this year so I still have some postop visits to go to. If this is happening, am I going to have to start paying everytime I go there? I hope they dont turn around and deny my surgery because of this. I just recieved my letter from BTC today saying that they won't accept it after May 5. The letter said "As always, BTC will continue to offer post-surgical follow-up vists beyond May 5th at no charge to all BCBS customers"

BTC does not accept cash for surgery either which I thought was very strange. I live in Windsor Ontario, an hour from a BTC and called them about having wls as a self-pay. They turned me down. I guess cash isn't their way of doing business.
