Question:
Has anyone had the WLS who also has kidney disease?

Hi Sonya, I also have kidney problems, not real bad, but there none the less. I was told that by my surgeon, that as long as it doesn't get any worse, then I could still get the surgery. Your surgeon might ask you to see an endocrenologist(sp?) to evaluate your problems and to have you cleared for surgery. I am still hoping for a surgery date, not because of my kidney's, but because I was also anemic. That has since been cleared up, so now I will wait and see.
