I am looking for a doc. that does gastric band surgery in the okla/ ark area

Dr James Johnson of the Oklahoma Surgery Group in Tulsa ok does the lap band. (Hillcrest)he at 12/Utica. I do NOT know if they offer 'financing'.

There is a Dr. in the Russellville, AR area that does the Lap band. I don't remember his name off hand but could find out for you either today or tomorrow. I dont know if he is any good or not. That is some research you need to do. Just let me know if you would like his name or if this is too far for you to travel...consider...cost of local hospital is one of the largest in the nation...suggest going to AR site off of this site and search Dr.'s that do lap...they are listed! Good Luck!

Hi! My surgeon, Dr. Ronnie Keith and his assistant Dr. Spectra did my Lap RNY and Dr. Keith himself has had the lap band surgery done I believe. He has done quite well. He is in the Norman/Oklahoma City, OK area. If they don't do the surgery maybe they can direct you.....Dr. Keith has a toll free number and it is 1-800-599-8010. I hoep this helps! Dr. Keith and his staff are absolutely wonderful, thorough, and very supportive. I do know that if your insurance will not pay that they offer financing by you filling out an application for a credit card of some type and you pay the credit card out. If I understood right. Anyway, I do hope this will help to at least direct you in the right direction. I have lost 95#'s and had my Lap RNY on 8/19/2003. Best Wishes to you!
