approval for tummy tuck in the Ft Drum area thru tricare ?

I cant help you with your answer with Ft Drum area but I just had my TT
thru tricare last week. Let me tell you it was a fight though. I had to
appeal twice before I finally got my approval. It was well worth the
fight..

I can not tell you about the Ft. Drum area, but if you have Tricare Prime,
it should be the same no matter were you live. I just had my TT a week
ago, and Tricare Prime approved it in 4 days, and I never had any problems.
I think alot of times, it is the experience that your ps office has with
submitting for procedures with Tricare Prime. I had a breast reduction in
August, and my ps office submitted to Tricare Prime for that procedure and
it only took one day for Tricare to approve. I had both procedures done by
a very skilled plastic Surgeon out in town. Please feel free to email me,
and I can tell you the steps that I took. Now I have Tricare Prime and my
husband is retired, I do not know how it works with Tricare Standard.

i am also tricare prime and went through portsmouth naval hospital,in
portsmouth va. it cost me 4051.00. that was my out of pocket cost.
