I take time released med. Has anyone had trouble with this

I don't know about high blood pressure meds, but I take a time released anti-depressant and my doc. seems to feel it is fine. I do know you can't crush a time released med. Good Luck.

Our doc forbids the timed release pills, pretty much. Some meds ONLY come that way, so he adjusts our dosage up or down to maximize absorption. And I don't guess---he does the adjusting. He instructs us never to fill a prescription without calling it in to the office FIRST.
