Pre-op & looking for support groups in Los Angeles

I am not sure how far Fountain Valley is from you but My surgeons office runs a support group. Dr. Peter LePort with Lite Dimensions. Hope this helps

Hi Christine, Spectrim has a support group for Dr. Clayton at Brotman Medical in Culver City. It's held the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It's facilitated by Dr. Andrews, a psychologist who wrote a book on Weight Loss Surgery. Usually about 40 people attend and it's sharing and questions and answers. Let me know if you want more info. Judy

Christine, my surgeon is in Burbank--Dr. Philippe Quilici. There's a support group every other Wednesday Evening at his office from 6 PM 'til 8 PM.

there is a general LA support groupand we meet twice a month. It doesn't matter where your surgery was performed or if you are a pre-op or just plain interested in WLS. Everybody is welcome. Go to http://communities.msn.com/LAWLSMAG for more details. Matthew
