Are there any support groups in the Baltimore, MD area?

There is a support group that meets at Franklin Square Hospital. I think they meet once a month. Check with your doctor. My doctor is Dr. Vanguri and he speaks there sometimes. Good Luck.

THERE IS A SUPPORT GROUP MEETING HELD AT FRANKLIN SQUARE HOSPITAL. FOR DIRECTIONS CALL THE HOSPITAL OR DR. VANGURI'S OFFICE NUMBERS LISTED BELOW. FOLLOW THE SIGNS THAT SAY "GSSG MEETING" THIS STANDS FOR Gastric Stapling Support Group Meeting. USUALLY IT IS EVERY THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 2:00 - 4:00 PM. THE NEXT ONE IS AUGUST 19 TH. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME IT IS FREE... YOU CAN CALL THE HOSPITAL AT 443-777-7000 OR CALL DR. VANGURI'S OFFICE AT 410-529-7500 FOR MORE INFORMATION. THE SCHEDULE FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR IS AS FOLLOWS SEPT 16 TH. / OCTOBER 21ST (CALL TO MAKE SURE SOMETIMES WE TAKE OCTOBERS MEETING TO MARTINSBURG WV)/ NOV 18TH. DECEMBER THERE IS NO MEETING. For new lookers to the answer to this long ago asked question. There is also a support group the first and third Thursday of each month at Saint Agnes hospital on Wilkens Ave.

There is a support group in Frederick, Maryland called OSSG_FREDERICK. We meet twice a month. 1) The first Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the FMH Wellness Center of the FSK MALL in Frederick. 2) Also the third Thursday of each month at the Frederick Health Dept. on Montvue Lane at 7pm.
