Question:
I HAVE HIT A BIG PLATEAU, HELP!!!!!

Hello I am 11 weeks post op, and have lost abour 50 pounds, that all happening between week 4 through 9. Well for the last two/three weeks I have not lost a pound!?!?! Any ideas on what I should be eating, to help get back on track, and what I shoulnd't be eating! I love fruit! Watermealon is my favorite, but someone told me that even the natural sugar in it was to much, and could cause me to gain? Have anyone very heard of this? I only eat about 2oz a time. and this is in the morning. What are some of the things that you all have done to help when you hit a PLATEAU! Thanks for all the help!    — [Anonymous] (posted on August 7, 2001)

Stop worrying... I joined the Century club today -100 pounds and have 20 more to go to goal I have hit platues since the beginning at first they were up to 3 weeks long and recently 7-8 weeks long Melon is great for you and a good source of water and no carbs a little natural sugar is not going to hurt your loss now if you were drinking your calories I might be concerned heres a couple questions 1. are you walking 2 miles per day 7 days per week 2. are you drinking your protein drinks 3. are you taking your vits 4. are you getting in your proteins first 5. are you drining plenty of water 6. are you staying the heck away from juice of any form... 7. are you not drinking 30 min before and 30 mins after each meal 8. are you not waking up and eating if you answer these questions in the proper way then sit or rather walk those pounds away.. and relax this tool is a powerful tool it can be abused and you can stop the lose but if you are being good there is nothing to worry about and eat all the melon you wish Kathy
