My pain began a few months post-op. I only notice it in the morning when I first get up out of bed. After I stretch up tall and walk a few steps, the pain goes away. We determined this was scar tissue. I had a diagnostic lap done a few months ago and the surgeon removed a 'lot' (her term) of scar tissue from my RNY 09/28/00. The sad thing is, scar tissue (in some folks) continues to 'grow' and I still have the pain now, just a few months after the scar tissue was removed. Some folks have a problem with scar tissue while others may never have scar tissue. I just live with it.
