Question:
Can a list be posted of what labs an RNY should have done?

I am getting confused by what labs we are definitly suppose to have done. Can a list be posted on this site to tell us for sure what we must have!!    — Anita I. (posted on March 12, 2002)

hon that differs from dr to dr and case to case. so you need to ask your dr what is best for you to have done.

I think that is a very good question. I too would like to see a baseline of labs that are good to have done. After the initial testing of all of the labs, then the doctor can order specifically what needs to be watched more closely and more frequently. I will try to find my list and post it here.
