Question:
Is Veal ok?

I am just about 6 weeks post-op and I would like to go to my FAV german place for some Veal goulash. It's really soft and mushy b/c of the sauce....is this ok? None if the questions in the library or my skimpy nutrition sheet mention Veal at all. I figure if I can eat chicken, veal seems ok b/c it's softer. Any input? Thanks!    — Kelly C. It should be just fine....just chew, chew, chew :-) I had Veal Parmagiana at about 5 weeks post-op and it was wonderful. Best wishes!

My surgeon basically told me I'd have to learn by trial and error as to what can or cannot be tolerated. You may learn that one day you'll handle things fine and the next you may not. I agree with the other post...CHEW CHEW CHEW!!!! And make sure you take it very slowly!!! Good luck & God Bless :o)
