Question:
Chronic intestinal pain

I'm 35 days post op BPD and having dull but real intestinal pain much of the time, regardless of food choices. Have had either regular BM or diarrhea daily, so don't suspect obstruction. Supposed to be on protein only, but the days I've 'tested' bread, green beans, etc., are the DAYS I FEEL BETTER! Per Dr order, am on pepcid complete for 3 days, but that's for heartburn - which I don't have. Puzzled and hoping someone else has survived this. Please advise - Diane    — Diane M. Chronic intestinal pain? Sorry to be stupid, but is that like a gas bubble that rolls around inside (really low) and seems to last for months and months? If so, I have it and it's driving me crazy.
