Question:
Is there a support group in the downtown Dallas area?

I work close to downtown Dallas Tx and am looking for a support group to join. I am pre-op with a surgery date of April 7th. Anyone knowing of any group around this area please email me at [email protected]. Thanks    — Annette S. (posted on January 7, 2003)

I live in Arlington, but I know on the "Local Help" link, if you click TX, there is a group that meets near Forest Lane in Dallas. There is also one in Grapevine that BTC provides but that might be a little far.

I am working with my surgeon to start a new support group in Lancaster, south of downtown Dallas. I will post a date as soon as we have a meeting place secured. Or email me and I will let you know

Annette, I also work close to downtown Dallas in the OakLawn area. I would be thrilled to participate in a Dallas group if you locate or start one. I am pre-op and will be having my surgery at BTC in Wylie with Dr Leverton. I just can't drive all the way out there for regular support group meetings. Please let me know what you find or decide.
