It is normal for your body to go through phases where it loses faster or slower. Most likely what you need to do is sit down and have a look at your routine... it might be time to tweak the diet a little to be extra sure of the protein and fluid intake. And of course theres exercise. Might be time to step up the intensity of your work out. Say, adding another 15 minutes to your walking - or "hills" on the treadmill. Hang in there! I'm sure you'll be able to kick start that losing with just a little effort. :)

Why kind of surgery did you have? Were you transected? Do you track your calories, carbs, protein intake? I looked at your profile, but there wasn't a lot of information there that would help us help you. If you were not transected, could there be a staple line disruption? Perhaps you aren't getting enough protein and water. You might want to track all of your intakes on fitday.com. Sometimes we're surprised to see what we really eat/don't eat. Lastly, what does your doctor say? Is he/she concerned? Regardless of the cause of the stopping of weight loss, you HAVE lost 105 pounds which is still a terrific accomplishment.

Carbs. Carbs cause plateaus...if you like what you weigh NOW...you can eat carbs..if you still want to lose go 100% white protein. (White protein is chicken, turkey, fish and eggs). Then when you are done losing weight, just add carbs. All weight loss will stop.

Phyllis ... you don't mention what your diet has been the last 10 months, whether or not you have been exercising, how much water you are drinking. All of these things can impact our weight loss. Also you don't mention how far you are from your goal weight. Congratulations on your fantastic weight loss.
