Hello..I amalso i year and I've lost 110lbs. I have slowed way down in the weight loss department also. But don't worry we still have the next 6-12 months to finish. I know it seems frustrating right now but keep your protein , exercise and water up and it will continue. My surgeon told me the last 30-40 lbs. are the hardest and the slowist. Your doing great!! Congratulations!

To the last poster: You still have another 6-12 months to lose? I hope so. I lost 160 (of the 190) I wanted to lose. I lost only 20 pounds from 12-24 months post op! Which means I lost almost nothing after the first year. Do everything you can to lose it and hope for the best. For some reason my body did'nt want to lose after 12 months. But that does'nt mean you can't. :)

I am 14 months post op. I have lost 144 pounds, but nothing in the last 2 months. actually i lose and gain between 2-4 pounds. I was told the window of opportunity is 18 months. I am having my tummy tuck done august 7th. They say as long as you have stabled out you can start the process for a tt. i was denied the first time and had to apppeal. good luck!! Phyllis

I am 19 months post op and down 227 lbs. There were about three months there at about a year out that I lost absolutely nothing... and even gained ten lbs. Then, suddently, it just started going again! I didn't give up, and didn't get frustrated, jsut stuck with it and kept going. It will happen!
