Search the internet for a doctor in your area that practices in Bariatrics and call them and ask them the doctor's views on weight loss surgery. That is how I found a doctor.

I am also a Kaiser SoCal member. My PCP is Dr. Narinder Kapoor at Los Angeles Medical Center. She is very nice and was supportive all the way. It is OK for you to transfer to another Kaiser facility. I had my surgery 9/9/02, and have lost 170 pounds.
