You may need to go to an ob-gyn. I had pain/cramps and it turns out I have endrometriosis. I am 35 and have NEVER had it before to my knowledge. You can also try those hot packs you stick to your undies. They may help. I can't think of any nonaspririn pills. Advil and tylenol but I assume you tried those.

I have taken Vioxx 25mg for quite some time with great relief. I did ask my surgeon, and he said it would be okay to take this. I only need it the first three days. I would much rather take one pill in 24 hours, rather than try to control my monster cramps with ibuprofen every four hours. I don't think there is any reason to suffer. Just because you read on this forum that we "can never take NSAIDS or aspirin products again", don't believe it until you check with your own surgeon, who may very well allow you to take some pain medications on occasions. I have never had a problem with Vioxx, and I am careful to take it with some food just to be on the safe side.
