Question:
Will Medicaid pay for any post op plastic surgery deemed medically necessary?

I do believe that medicaid is different from state to state. I'm also quite sure that most states medicaid will pay so long as your dr. says it is a medical necessity. I see you are from OH...I have a friend from Ohio who just had a Tummy tuck and medicaid paid for 100%....Soon she will be getting a thigh lift, and they are paying for that too...... hope this helps ya out kim

I know of someone who had a Lower Body Lift totally paid for by medicaid. I have private insurance and couldn't get a LBL covered, but she had no problem whatsoever having medicaid pay for her LBL. As the previous poster mentioned, this may be determined differently state by state. I don't have that answer. Hope this helps!
