hello I am 3 years out and I started out at 330lbs. I got down to 157 but looked a little sick at my height 5'6" so now I am 170. I takes work to maintain that weight but I have a physical job so that helps. Also I still stop eating the second I feel full even if it is after 3 bites. I never push myself and I am a firm believer it is a secret to my long term success. Good luck in your journey.

Yes, yes, you can! I began at 343 5'2". I was stuck at around 191 for over 3 years. Then I got serious about losing again. So...I went back to the basics. I pulled up pouch rules for dummies and followed it to the letter. The results are slower but I am now down to 173 give or take a few pounds. It is possible, I hear people say no once the window of opportunity is over you don't lose. Not at all, disregard the negative totally and concentrate on the pouch rules. Good luck and feel free to email me personally anytime! My goal is to get to 165/163 to have my plastic surgery. You can do this too.

I can email you a possible help if you email me privately. I'll also be in DFW July 7, if you check my site for details. We could chat then, too

Everyone is different of course. But as a long term post op, the only time I can lose weight is when I'm sick. I've tried dieting post op and when I lose I immediatly gain it back AND more QUICK. So I don't even try anymore as this is how my weight got away from me pre op.

I am in the same boat but have realized that it is all exercise for me. I can eat 1200 - 1500 cals a day and won't budge a pound but if I eat 1500+ and exercise, I'll lose. It's all up to my motivation at this point.

I am also in the same boat. I started at 5'9 and 371 pounds. I was a size 32. I am almost two years out and weight about 230. I am asize 18. The lowest I ever was was 221 and still an 18 . I cannot lose any more weight. I have tried everything. I do exercise very regularly. I am very fit and can out kickbox some othe fittest in my classes. I have even started running. Do you exercise? For some, that is all that is needed to jump start. If you want to lose, you have to maintain a schedule of about 5 days a week. Mainaining is about 3.
