I have a medic alert bracelet that reads, GASTRIC BYPASS. Place NG tube with endoscopy. No NSAIDS. Hope this helps Toodles,

My doctor gave me a card that states what type of surgery had and has an illustration of what my stomach looks like. Ask your doctor if he can give you that. If not, you can also get a MedicAlert bracelet, necklace or whatever. MedicAlert is a company for people with medical problems. They have special bracelets with details on the reverse side and some are actually quite stunning! Just look the company up on the web!
