Question:
How can I get my insurance to approve the lower body lift, rather than just the pani?

Good Luck! I paid for the lateral thigh lift portion of the LBL and my insurance paid for the full extended abdominoplasty and hospitalization. I could have appealed and maybe won but after surgery I was just too tired and my 60 days to appeal ran out. Just never had time before surgery. I knew it was a total crap shoot to prove medical necessity for the thigh work anyway.
