I am post ob 3 weeks and my insurence pre approved by phone the day after I went for my first visit with the surgion . The Dr office can call the insurence company and they can give approval over the phone . They will often follow with a written letter to the dr . Good luck in your jouney :-)

They told me over the phone and I asked them to send me a fax and they did that too. I felt much more secure having it in writing.
