Has anyone had surgery cancelled due to sore throat?

My surgery (open rny) is scheduled for May 28th & a couple of days ago I developed a sore throat, not running a temp, just a sore throat. HELP Please. Thanks, Sheila    — Sheila G. (posted on May 27, 2002)

You should be fine - check out Diane Jordan's profile/journal - she had pneumonia shortly before her surgery and she was still able to go through. Good luck with it all, Sheila !! Write if you want to visit more.
