Question:
Has anyone tried the liquid vit/min

I've been preparing for my RNY surgery in August and am searching for a good multi vitamin/mineral supplement in liquid form. I came across a product called "BODY BALANCE" by LifeForce and was wondering if any post-ops had used it? It's rather pricey, but the ingredients sound like something that would be beneficial to WLS patients, particularly in the early weeks after surgery when it might be difficult to swallow pills. Anyone out there tried it? Is it any good, or just expensive snake oil?    — Alison P. (posted on July 10, 2002)

Centrum Liquid is at all Walmarts. Very affordable, too. A bottle lasts about a month. Tastes pretty bad, but just hold your nose. It's good for you. Georgia

I just purchased Tropical Oasis Multivitamin/Mineral liquid from GNC. Has a good taste, no nose-holding necessary. It too is a bit pricey but I believe it will be worth it ($29.99 for a 30 day supply, but should be purchased with 20% discount card). Check it out at www.tropicaloasis.com

At first I tried to take a liquid one, but I found that the concentration would make me dump ... so I went and found some chewable ones until about a month out, now I take normal ones.
