Hi...Congratulations on your weight loss! Actually you are doing great. From your starting weight, you are considered a lightweight so losing 70# in 3.5 months is great. I am 3.5 post op also and have lost 63 and for awhile I worried that it was too slow, that it would be the end of it, that I'd be that one who would fail. But my Dr. reassured me on his curve chart that I am right on target and losing about 15-20/month is great. For plateaus... I am learning that plateaus also are important as it is the body's way of adapting to the weight loss...you lose, plateau for a bit, lose, plateau, etc. Our support group Thurs. eve. also relayed this same info. Important to keep in mind though is to get about an ounce for every pound you need to lose daily in water, get the protein in, your vitamins, exercise, watch portions and spend the rest of the time enjoying a new and healthier life. My best to you.
