Liquid goes down well, it's food that you won't be able to keep more than a small amt in the pouch. Picture it like a funnel and the liquid goes through slow but OK, the food will plug up, that's the reason we chew well. I drank the whole 8 oz when I was that far out.

Gale- I mix a double in the morning...I am able to drink the whole thing over the course of a 1/2 hour...
