Heya hun.. dont be discouraged.. your body is still adjusting to the new you.. also.. as someone told me(cause i was upset about the same exact thing) everyone loses differently.. and that is 26 lbs.. that are gone forever..have you ever lost 26lbs in a month before surgery..??.. i thought i was the one that wls just was not gonna work for..lol.. but now i am almost 6weeks post op.. and i have lost 39lbs.. when i was at 3wks.. i had lost only 20lbs.. and that was all in the first wk.. scale didnt move till my one month app..so..give it time and relax..sounds like you are doing everything ok.. *huggles and bb*..

I was also a lightweight and the same thing happened to me. I lost 20 pounds then NOTHING for 3 weeks. I thought that was it for me. I was devastated. Then when the weight started coming off again I went down 2 sizes overnight! My advice would be to keep doing what you are doing. The weight will eventually come off. Even with that little delay, I still hit my top goal at 7 mos and my current weight at 10 1/2 mos. The other thing is to make sure you are taking your measurements. Sometimes the scale doesn't move but you are still losing inches. If I had know that I could have saved myself a lot of grief. I even had one lady at my surgeon's office tell me that I couldn't be going thru a plateau that early. Bull hockey! From what I've seen on here it's pretty common to have an early plateau while your body catches up with itself. Don't worry, the weight loss isn't over!

An early platue is sooooooooooooooooooo common. I didn't lose from about week 3 to like week 6. I am down 120 pounds!

hi there sandra :) dont panic, what you are going through is so normal. your body needs time to heal and get used to the new swing of things. your ganna be suprised as the days, weeks ,months pass at the new you emerging. try to make sure you eat enough , get your protein and water in and try not to live on the scale, you will be just fine!!! best of luck to you ! :)

I was so proud of my self at my 2 week checkup down 20 lbs. the booom! plateu for 2 weeks. You would not have believed the stream of "f" words when I kept weighing in and the scale was the same every dog gone day. (as in I can't believe I had this f-ing surgery and lost 20 f-ing pounds and can't eat anything but f-ing liquids etc for 2 straight weeks I went thru it, then boom one day I was down 4 pounds, then more and a new platue every few weeks. now at 3 months I am down 49 pounds and with a wierd loss pattern, I think of plateau a week then drop several pounds, repeat. Good luck , feel better soon.

Feel free to read my profile - it records this very frustration! I've been on a plateau 3/4 of the time, but still lost 115 in 4 1/2 months!
