I'm three and a half months out and eat three meals and one snack a day, plus the Rocamojo protein coffee substitute drink. A typical day is 2 cups of Rocamojo at about 8:15, a half a cup of cottage cheese or yogurt around 9:00, lunch (2.5 ounces of meat or fish and a couple of strawberries or other fruit) around 12:30, a protein-based snack (nuts, cheese, meat) around 4:00 and then dinner (similar to lunch, but with a vegetable instead of fruit) around 6:30.

I eat about 4-6 meals a day. 05:00 am I drink a protein shake with some fruit, no sugar added Quick, or yogurt (2 Flinstones Chewables). <p> 09:00 am 1/2 Detour bar, nuts, or string cheese (1 Calcium citrate pill) <p> 12:00 am 3-4 oz of meat, 1/2 sandwich, Fastfood salad, or a lean pocket. (1 Calcium citrate pill)<p> 03:00 pm Repeat of the 9am meal or nothing. <p> 06:00 pm 1/2 can of fatfree chili, homemade salade with chicken, 1 jumbo taco, or a lean cuisine. (1 Calcium citrate pill + 1 coumadin)<p> 09:00 pm Peach, slab of watermellon, nuts, rice chips, or 1/2 bag of kettle corn popcorn. (1 Gentle Iron Pill + 2 Vitamin C pills) <p> <p> Also I'll do translingual B12 3-4x a week but for the next couple weeks I'm doing about 5-7 a week since I'm studying for the Bar exam and probably depleting it faster. <p> Take Care, Be Well, Be Happy!

I usually have 5-6 meals or 3 meals and 2 or 3 snacks. 8:00 AM - Grapenuts and grapejuice (my surgeon's orders) 10:30 AM - Protein shake 1:00 PM - lunch - usually cottage cheese, sardines, salad with meat or something of that nature. 3:30 - sometimes have some jerky or peanuts 7:00 PM - dinner - cheese, peanuts, grilled meat, cottage cheese, salad, - whatever I'm in the mood for and it's always high protein 9:00 - 9:30 maybe some peanut butter or cheese and I usually have one or two prunes or dried apricots. This isn't written in stone; there are days when I don't eat that often and other days, I seem to have smaller protein snacks more often. I am 19 months post-op and my surgeon says I'm doing great and not to change anythin.

I usualy do 5 a day. 730, something fast I can eat in the car like string cheese, trail mix i found that for 2 oz only has 200 cals and 11 g carbs, no sugar and about 11 mg of salt or a boiled egg. 1030 I usualy have half a protien bar trail mix or peanut butter or soy chips made by genisoy. 1 chip has .6 carbs and I think 1 gram protien and less than 4 calories. they're pretty tasty. I try to avoid white carbs in the morning. I can't function if I have them before 3 pm. Lunch is usualy 2 oz of meat with veggies or 3 oz meat and no veggies, 445 is snack on what ever was left over from break, and for dinner I ususaly have 2 -3 oz of meat and tbsp or 2 of veggie or fruit. I then take my iron and vitimins at 8, and at 9 or 930, will have few oz's of 1% sweet acedolphius milk. I was takeing the iron and milk together until someone gently pointed out you don't mix milk or calcium with iron. It inhibits absorption. My surgon doens't like it though. He thinks I should only be eating 3x/day. I get sick and my sugar drops if I don't though. Soemthing seems to be working, because in 11.5 weeks I've dropped 51 lbs, and am now 89 lbs from goal.
