Question:
Should I be worried about my implant not yet dropping?
Hi Everyone. I am 4 weeks post op breast lift with implants and the left one looks great so far, but the right one doesn't seem to want to drop. Has anyone ever experienced this? Should I be worried? Is there anything I should do to help speed it up? It's softened up, but barely moved since surgery. I used the post operative bra I was given, and I am doing all the exercises she recommended, but it's not budging. — Samar M. (posted on February 2, 2005)

oh my goodness I was going to post the same thing... I my left one is
sitting like a rock on my chest and the right one looks soooo great. I had
surgery Dec 22nd. I have taken to wrapping with an ace bandage at night
and wearing sports bras in hopes that it will help. The left one is also
really sore :( I am hoping it isnt a capsular contraction as I wont see my
doc till mid March. I wish I was more help but I am in the same boat

I have the same problem. I had mine done in June and the right one still
has not dropped. My doc says that he may have to go in there and pull it
down. He seems to imply that it's no big deal, but it is another surgery.
Yikes!!!!

Don't worry. I went through the same thing but the implants do drop. I
was so worried and did fear that something would have to be done but now I
have a chest that I always wanted. In VERY RARE occasions, something has
to be done but they say it is not a big deal. I did use an ace bandage
after the first week. It has taken several months to drop and look normal.
Be patient. I was worried just like you but I AM SO HAPPY! I had to have
one implant much larger than the other to make them even.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I am now
awaiting lower body surgery. I have also had my arms done. Amy
