Question:
Please help me find this person...

I've been trying to find a member of this site who posted a few month back, talking about a problem with the food not staying in the pouch, which result in almost constant hunger and not loosing weight. She said her problem was fixed but didn't say how and I need to find out because my problem is the same. If someone knows about this problem please answer, I've been stuck at 60lbs. lost since I was 4/5 months post-op, and I'm almost 8 month now. Good luck to everybody. Ana    — Ana P. I don't know who the person is but...try typing hunger or another word in the search engine on the archives and see what other people have gone to. Also go to yahoogroups.com and do a search for ossg-hungry which is a group of WLSers that experience hunger and talk about it. Good luck and God bless!

There is a lady named Helen Hanes who experienced a large stoma where the food just passed through to the intestine without ever filling up the pouch. If you go to the library and search 'outback', the question,'why can I eat so much?' is the only one that comes up and Helen is the first response. I am interested in this also as I have recently had a stricture dilated twice, the second time to 12mm. They thought it would tighten back up, hopefully stop at 10mm (ideal). I don't think it has gotten any smaller and am starting to worry about this being a problem because I don't get full anymore. Good luck.

Also there was one on 12/4. go to the library under the category of 'misc. diet issues' and scroll down to 'food amounts'. You can't go back 300 questions, not far back enough.
