Question:
Last night I woke with severe abdominal pain...........

It was more like my whole abdomin went into a spasm. It was quite painful and everything was real tight and hard. Lasted about 5 minutes and then it eased up and was gone. Anyone else experience anything like this? I am 10 months post op.    — Kim B. (posted on October 29, 2002)

If the pain came in the night while sleeping, then it was probably a gas pocket.
