Question:
Does anyone know of a surgeon who performs Lap Banding in or around Dayton Ohio?

My brother-in-law is looking for a surgeon in or around Dayton that does Lap Banding. His PCP said he had never heard of the lap band. I can't believe an area the size of Dayton doesn't have SOMEONE. If you get on the website for the maker of the lapband (INAMED), they can tell you who in your area can perform the surgery. You answer a few questions, then they send you a list of doctors with phone numbers.That's how I found my doctor, only my insurance wouldn't approve it.

There is one in Indianapolis, IN. I am having surgery at St. Vincence Carmel and I discussed the lap band with them. The Carmel Surgerical Specialists have a Dr. Christopher..... I can't think of his last name but he does lap bands. I hope this helps you out. Good Luck!!

Dr. Bradley Needleman in Columbus at OSU does lap band surgery. He was my surgeon (rny) and I could not have been more pleased! Great bedside manner, expert surgeon, decent follow-up. Good luck!
