Question:
My new iron perscription has me high as a kite, why?

My surgeon put me on perscritpion iron, since my levels were too low, and now I'm high as a kite and my jaw hurts. Has anyone else had this happen? What to do, its making working hard.    — krisl (posted on October 13, 2003)

I would suggest you contact your doctor about it. If you are unable to reach the doctor right away, you could call your pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist. You may be having a reaction to the medicine.
