25 pounds from goal and in need of plastic surgery i

Where do you begin looking for qualified plastic surgeons that have experience with WLS patients? Also I am interested in a full tummy tuck and possibly a lower body lift. If you have the tummy tuck first and the lower body lift at a later surgery, do they tie the scars in together or is there an extra scar due to two different surgeries. Should these surgeries be performed together for best results? Thanks - any input is greatly appreciated. Also, I live in the Detroit area if anyone knows of a GOOD plastic surgeon.    — Judi D. I asked my weight loss surgeon for suggestions for plastic surgeons. And I asked around a lot, asked friends & family. I only had a TT so can't help you with the other part of your question.

When I went to the support group meetings, I asked to see the scars of people who had lost weight. Then I got the names of there plastic surgeons. After viewing some people's scars, I didn't want to use there plastic surgeon (even though I know everybody is different). You need to get some referrals and see several and interview them and see what they can do for you.

like the other posters here, your w.l.s. surgeon should lead you to the plastic surgeon..my w.l.s. surgeon has a plastic surgeon lined up for me.. i just hit my goal weight days ago and my surgeon told me to hold that for 2 months, then i'll see the plastic surgeon..i can't wait to get this flab off.. good luck
