Question:
MOM WHO HAD A LEAK?
HELLO EVERYONE! I POSTED A FEW WEEKS AGO ABOUT MY MOM WHO HAD SURGERY AND ENDED UP WITH A LEAK IN HER SMALL INTESTINE AND WAS IN ICU, ETC. WELL GEUSS WHAT, SHE MADE IT THROUGH AND IS DOING GREAT! LAST WEEK SHE WAS COMPLAINING OF BACK PAIN AND HAVING A HARD TIME BREATHING, WHICH CONCERNED US, BECAUSE OF THE IRREVERSIBLE LUNG DAMAGE, BUT COME TO FIND OUT SHE HAD PLURACY ONLY (WHICH IS LIQUID AROUND THE LUNGS THAT CAUSES PRESSURE AND PAIN WHEN YOU BREATH...COMMON AFTER SURGERY). WOW, YOU GUYS ARE GREAT, YOU ALL REALLY PUT ME AT EASE AND I THANK YOU. SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO RESPOND UPDATE, ME AND Y HUSBAND FINALLY GOT A NEW LAPTOP LAST FRIDAY AND DSL BACK UP AND RUNNING. I am very glad to hear you mother is doing well and made it through her
surgery. I was very worried for her and prayed for her. I also checked your
profile for updates a couple of times but there were none so I was hoping
you would not have bad news to tell your AMOS family. Thank you for letting
us all know how she is doing. Please also tell her she had people praying
for her and we will continue during her recovery from her most recent
ailment. God Bless you both.

I am so glad you posted an update. I've been keeping an eye out for
something from you, hoping it would be good news. It's such an awful thing
to hear when someone has had a bad experience, but I am relieved to hear
your Mom is on the mend and on her way to really being a
"loser"!!
