Question:
New Protien Shake.

I found a new protein shake that I wanted to share with everyone. It is called Carb Options and I get it at Wal-Mart. It is 11.5oz and comes in Vanilla and Chocolate. I am not a big fan of Shakes but this one is pretty good. It has 20 grams of protein and only 6 grams of total Carbs and only 1 gram of Sugars then lists 1 gram of other Carbs. It comes in a 4 pack and is around $6.00, I think it is fairly new. I really like it but if there is anyone out there with more knowledge than me about protein shakes and have seen this please let me know if there is anything you feel is not good about this shake. I bought this too and thought it would be good. I'm glad you like it! I thought it had a very strong after taste/sugary taste. Even though its flavored with Splenda, it was just very strong for me. I bought the Carb Options peanut butter and love it- doesn't taste any different. Hope the shake works out for you! I don't know much about them either, so I hope it ends up being okay. I'll stick with the Carnation Instant/NSA Shake.

I have been using this drink since I had the surgery last October. I like to mix it with lots of ice in a blender or I also mix it with decaf coffee (equal protions) as a warm drink (that way is my favorite). I prefer the chocolate instead of the vanilla and I do agree it has an unusual taste sometimes so that is why I like to add ice or coffee to it. God bless you and good luck to you on your journey. I know I am very happy with mine. I am down 83 of the 120 pounds I need to lose and I am less than 7 months out.

Is this protein pre-digested? Call the company who makes it and ask. If it's not I've learned that we don't absorb any of it.
