Pain Right Side Entry Wound RNY

I am 8 weeks Post Op and have soreness and pain on my right side. The entry wound is healing but it is red and puffy around the wound. Could taking hot baths cause this?    — flygirl55 (posted on May 21, 2004)

First off talk to your dr anytime that you have a concern.You may have picked up an infection soaking in the tube. My dr told me to stay away from tub baths till I was completely healed. Also not to scare you but this was the first signs that I had of a hurnia just after another surgery. Hope things are okay and that I didn't scare the pants off of you.lol Take care and talk to dr. peggy
