Question:
Has anyone ever given birth to healthy twins after gastric bypass sugery?

I did!! I did!! I had WLS 7/18/02 and found out 10/4/02 I was 6 weeks pregnant with twins! I had a wonderful pregnancy. I only gained 20-25 lbs. I lost 40-45 within 1 week of giving birth. I had them at 37 weeks. Both babies were healthy. Savannah spent 1 day in the NICU to watch her breathing. Samuel was taken into the regular nursery. Today they are almost 16 months old and still completely healthy and wonderful!!

Congrats! I had twins, but it was pre-op. Just wanted to let you know though that I was doing heavy duty protein shakes during my pregnancy, and even though I was 6 weeks early, they were almost 6 pounds each. Drink protein shakes until they're coming out your nose and you'll be fine (IMO :) Good luck.. mine are now 5 years old, and sooooo much fun!

I know a girl who had twin boys, healthy and beautiful! She was about 2 years out and the boys are now about 9 mo.
