Has anyone had upper arm reduction after weight loss?

My upper arms have excess skin. I was wondering if anyone has had surgery to reduce the skin; what was the experience like; and how successful was it. I have been told that the surgery carries the risk of swelling (permanet, similar to breast cancer with lymph nodes taken out of upper arms).    — Terry A. (posted on March 17, 2001)
