Relax....................... All of us feared we would be the one to blow this surgery Your body is in shock... my body completely freezes up every couple months and I have hit Platues since week 3 that last upwards of 6 weeks I have only lost -72 lbs in 6 months and that scares me also I still fear being the one to blow this But then I started out with a BMI in the low 40's I am sitting on 188 now and yes I do feel great Hang in there up the Proteins and walk walk walk and my Doctor said that the first 6 months were the biggest losing time so take full advantage of this stay completely off the carbs and sugars why sabotage yourself and have faith

I lost 60 lbs the first two months post op. I'm now 6 months post op and have lost a total of 120 lbs. So over the last 4 months, I have lost an average of 15 lbs a month. Sometimes, I'm fustrated about the slow lose but I would have never lost it on my own. If I can lose an average of 10 lbs for the next year plus, I would be very happy. I seem to hit plateus for a week or two and all of a sudden drop several pounds in another weeks time.
