Question:
How bad is the loose skin after and does the insurance cover the removal of it?

It depends on how much you weigh pre-op, how old you are, how much elasticity your skin had left in it.. there's a number of variables. *Sometimes*, yes, insurance does cover the removal of the skin as "reconstructive" surgery. Especialy if you've had problems with rashes in the area of the hanging skin or it's causing you other medical problems. Good luck on your journey! :)
