Question:
Did anyone experience lightheadedness 2 weeks post-op?

I am 2-weeks post-op and I am still a little fuzzy headed. I feel like the anesthesia and/or the morphine is still effecting me a bit. It doesn't happen any specific time of the day or when I haven't eaten, it just happens. I feelit mostly when I am standing up. I plan on calling my Dr tomorrow, but if anyone else has had this happen I would like to know that I am not alone. Thanks!    — pam29922 (posted on May 9, 2002)

i am 1 week post op and today is the first day i felt somewhat human again. i took my pain meds (loritab) only twice yesterday and not at all today. I still am a little foggy, but I know it's everything leaving my body. I notice it the most when I'm typing or talking...I know in my head what I want to say but the words come out of my mouth saying something totally different... Good luck (open rny 5-2-02)

a few weeks out from my r.n.y. open i also felt dizzy,, my doctor told me your body chemistry takes awhile to adjust, blood sugars are low, your body just needs time to recover,, after 3 or 4 weeks out i felt fine,, good luck
