Question:
Yes, another

I am pre-op now. As is, I can pretty much peel wall-paper with my gas these days. I've always been like this. Loud, smelly "tooting" as its called in my house. And our small bathroom just makes it echo (sorry...) anyway...Will this improve with surgery...or GASP...get worse?    — Renee B. (posted on May 22, 2003)

It depends on the person I think. In my case I have almost no gas at all since surgery. I think it is the very pure eating. No garbage in my diet anymore has also cleared my skin and eyes and I sleep better and require less sleep. Good Luck to you and your family! Hee hee! :)

I had worried that I would get more flatulent after wls, which was a terrible prospect as I had been so bad since I turned about 30. One time a rommate came home and yelled at the dog for pooping in the house, but it was me, tooting away, not knowing she'd be home soon! Anyway, I have been pleased by my lack of stinkiness so far.
