Question:
Here I go again, Still having pain in back and rt rib area.

I went to dr yesterday, had GI with KUB and nothing showed up. Still can't figure out why this pain. No gallbladder, had that removed at time of surgery. I don't have pain for hours then wam, out of blue it hits, it's really uncomfortable and i'm beginning to think it's gas related, but I don't feel I have to pass gas, but today I'm belching quit a bit. I've got to figure this out. anyone have any ideas what this could be????I'm scheduled for another appointment on Thursday. What does an ulcer feel like....HELP    — Jeana S. I had a similar pain, but on the left side. I also belched a lot. I tried eating much slower and sipping instead of gulping my drinks. That really helped and I started taking simethocone(sp?) every once in awhile. That took care of it.

I had the same pains for awhile. You did'nt say "which side". Mine was the right. I finally had xrays... I was full of sh##! lol. What guy is'nt right? ;) As far as an ulcer, I'm pretty sure I have one and it is worse than gallbladder attacks ever were. Mine starts in the pouch (no warning) like a bad sprain, quickly swings around to my back. It's like a sprain and being punched in the stomach rolled into one. The pain is so bad I almost can't breathe. Talking is almost impossible. It feels as if I'm going to die. Literly. Anywho, you may be full of stool if your pain is on the right side. An xray will reveal it.
