PRE-OP HAVE GALSTONES AND HERNIA

Ive had a lap-coli a few years ago and i have an umbilical hernia now. the surgeon will temporarly fix it until i lose 100lbs and get a TT. if my RNY was open..he could have fixed it now. Many people have gallbladders removed at the time of sx if its necessary. Hope this helps! Tracey

Hi--- I had both before my surgery and both were corrected along with the surgery. I had my gall bladder out and the hital hernia is fixed when they redo your new pouch. Hope this helps--- I had an open rny---
